Appetize
During the 17th and 18th centuries, painters often depicted their subjects in amorous and provocative scenes around the dinning tables. The following pieces use birds instead of people to depict a similar scene of lust around the sweet confections. The scenes are perched like nests about the antique stand. These pieces are meant to be interactive for the viewer and placed throughout the room. By taking a sweet treat from the plates, the viewer is participating in the gluttonous affair.
